We can provide you with flies either as a carefully selected package or have them custom tied for you by a top English fly dresser. These custom flies re not cheap, but then quality never is. We use the finest quality materials to original designs (like so many flies the original may not be anything like the pattern tied in the third world with poor materials) Please email us with your requirements so we may quote you a price as the work involved varies with pattern to pattern.

To vary the type of fly you use we also have slide-a-popper heads that can be slipped on to your leader to provide a floating popping or cone head for different water vibration effects..

The range of patterns and sizes means we are unable to stock every saltwater fly in the pattern books. However we have very good sources in America and can usually get any of our listed flies almost by return. We would ask though for a minimum order of 3 of a pattern please of the smaller flies. (We recommend you take 4 of a size - one to use, one to lose, one to give away and one to keep as a pattern for the next trip) Delivery is usually 2-3 weeks, though some items may be in stock.

We are pleased to be able to offer Edgewater closed cell popper flies The Master Blaster Flat is a Magnum sized popper for sailfish and Marlin. They have tandem 5/0 hooks

Master Blaster Mylar is similar to the Master Blaster Flat fly but with the added flash of Mylar.

Master Jack Flat is the smaller version of the Master Blaster fly. Easier to cast with a smaller popper head, it still provides plenty of 'pop' to attract billfish.

Master Jack Mylar is the smaller headed version of the Master Blaster Mylar.

Deceivers

The classic saltwater deceiver pattern is available in a variety of colours. Webers Flash in the Grass provides a highly attractive pattern with lots of flash

Poppers

Boilermarkers are a large popper effective for Tarpon, Bluefish, Striped Bass, as well as having worked well with Barracudas. Rattle n' Pop - All the attraction of the Boilermarker with a built in high frequency fish attracting rattle.

Clousers. Gotchas, Crabs and Charlies need little or no introduction

Leaders & Loops

Flyline Loops

Braided leader loops are easy to find but, these have Kevlar woven in to them to increase their ability to withstand the wear associated with a long heavy fight. They are availible with a ½" loop to make a loop to loop connection with the backing and thus make changing lines quick and easy - see line boxes

Leaders

Once again there is a huge range of leaders, and we have selected only those we feel of use to the saltwater angler - freshwater leaders are easily found.

All our selection is as knot-less as possible - the last thing you need is a piece of weed catching on a knot and spooking the fish. The striped bass leader is only 7ft long with a tremendous taper to carry large bushy flies.The ‘Toothy Critter’ tapers are 7.5ft with a nylon covered shock tippet in a range of strengths.

The Billfish and Tarpon leaders come with shock leaders and class tippets and are also available with flourocarbon shock tippets for ultra shy Tarpon.

We have some very soft knotable wire to make your own tippet. This wire is very soft and causes minimal problems with lure action. You do not need crimps as loops and hitches are easily tied. Available in 5m packs of 25lb. and 40lb.

Fly Stretchers

What a waste of space and money, until you lose the only shot at tarpon in the whole week as you are rigged for barracuda or something else as tarpon are not supposed to come onto these flats.. By the time you’ve changed leader and tied on the fly the fish is gone. Fly stretchers allow you to keep a selection of flies ready to swap quickly and easily. All the knots can be tied quietly and slowly and not in a rush with excited fingers!!

Our stretchers are marked to let you check the lengths of your shock and class tippet are within IGFA rules. - and they float if you do drop one over board. Each will carry 20 rigged flies. The hook loops may be extended using simple elastic bands so that you can carry tarpon and offshore flies on the same stretcher, while the bag is designed to hold spare class and shock tippet and flies.
